The British Council recently published a toolkit on internaitonal tourism for museums. The toolkit is aimed at increasing the sustainability of non-national museums outside of London.
You can download the toolkit from ICOM UK's website.
SEFM paid a visit to York Art Gallery, which reopened on 1st August, and what a wonderful treat it was!
Amidst the gallery's decision to charge for entry, York Mix asked York Museums Trust to respond to the questions and concerns of local residents.
