Collections Storage at Leeds Museums and Galleries

Sustainable Storage at The Whitworth

The Whitworth reopened to the public in February 2015 after a £15m refurbishment that has opened up new spaces and has a new collections centre that employs passive environmental controls. Nicola presented on sustainable storage systems brought in as part of the redevelopment. You can find the slides here.
Sustainable offsite storage at the Chadwick Resource Centre
Pierrette Squires, Bolton Library and Museum Service
Pierrette is an accredited conservator and accreditation mentor for ICON. She has been at Bolton for over 12 years. Pierrette told us about the Chadwick Resource Centre, an object store and research centre completed in Summer 2012. The powerpoint will be uploaded shortly. See photo above.
